Garden flag, MCAA
25% off in June! Discount will apply when added to cart.
The Mayo Clinic Alumni Association (MCAA) garden flag can be proudly displayed along an outdoor walkway or entry of your home. The flag features the historical Mayo Foundation House as a backdrop to the MCAA seal. The Mayo Foundation House was formerly the home of Dr. William J. and Hattie Mayo.
In 1938, Dr. Will and Hattie donated their home to Mayo Clinic as a meeting place “for the good of mankind.” Since then, it has been known as Mayo Foundation House. It contains many original family furnishings, as well as works of art donated to Mayo Clinic. In 1975, the home was included in the National Register of Historic Places. Though not open to the public, Mayo Clinic physicians and scientists and their guests may have fond memories of attending Mayo Clinic meetings and events at the stately home built in the English Tudor Revival style.
