M.D. and Ph.D. neckties reflect the colors of Mayo Clinic commencement regalia, with the necktie for M.D.'s featuring thin green stripes and Ph.D.'s featuring thin blue stripes, in coordination with the velvet accent color on the commencement hood. M.D. and Ph.D. credential is embroidered on the underside of the necktie.
